Question: After Upgrading Windows LAN Speeds and Performance has slowed down. Answer: 1. On your keyboard Press the Windows key + R 2. Type CMD and hit ENTER. 3. Type the following command line and hit ENTER: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled 4. If running multiple terminals with PDQuick Retail Software repeat this instruction on every single computer and on your server. Note: If you get a message that the command must be elevated to administrator level replace step #2 above with the following: On the Windows Desktop click SEARCH and type COMMAND. Find the the Command Prompt Icon and RIGHT mouse click then choose Run as Administrator. Follow steps 3-4 to complete the process. |
